In 1970, a leader album released by jazz bassist Gary Peacock, who was deeply involved in the free jazz movement in early 1960s New York and collaborated with artists such as Ornette Coleman and Don Cherry. In the late 1970s, he worked with ECM regulars such as Art Lande, Jack DeJohnette, and Keith Jarrett. This album features recordings from a trio session with Masabumi Kikuchi (piano) and Hiroshi Murakami (drums), recorded at the Kawaguchi Civic Hall in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, in the same year. This lineup would reunite later in the year for the historic album "Gin Kaiyū" by Kuniyoshi Sugawara, showcasing an incredibly harmonious and lyrical combination. Highly recommended. Comes with Peacock's personal signature on front sleeve.
