After debuting in 1971 with a super-psychedelic first album, German composer George Deuter went on to release a steady stream of meditative works, while repeatedly traveling to India and immersing himself so deeply in Eastern thought that he eventually converted to Hinduism. A true pioneering figure in new age music, this is his third album, released in 1976. From A2, where acoustic guitar, sitar, and bell tones pour down like sunlight, to B2, whose gently swaying echo-laden guitar draws the listener into a deeply meditative state, the album is filled with a peaceful worldview rooted in a return-to-nature spirit and a strong Eastern sensibility, all expressed through a beautiful fusion of acoustic instrumentation and electronics.

A2: Life is Love
B2: Solitary Bird
