This album was released in 1983 by saxophonist George Adams, who has played on many masterpieces from spirituals such as Hannibal, McCoy Tyner and McBee to souls such as The Fatback Band, and drummer Dannie Richmond, who has played on many of Adams' albums. Quintet featuring Jimmy Knepper (tb), Hugh Lawson (p) and Mike Richmond (b). The quintet's groove is full of free-flowing taste, but with a love and respect for old jazz, blues, John Coltrane and the like. A great and moving performance.
