This album was released in 1986 by American saxophonist George Adams, whose 1979 quintet work "Paradise Space Shuttle" was featured in the first edition of the guidebook "obscure sound", and pianist Don Pullen, a close friend and collaborator of George Adams, who played with Albert Ayler's group and others. This is the second volume of recordings from the quartet with Dannie Richmond (ds) and Cameron Brown (b), recorded live at Village Vanguardf, New York in 1983. All of the songs are originals by Adams and Pullen, with a fast, straight-ahead hard bop feel, and the B2 is a hot groove with a touch of R&B and New Orleans in its nearly 18 minutes of great playing.
