This is a 1984 album by American guitarist George Cromarty, who debuted in the 1960s as part of the guitar duo Goldcoast Singers and pursued a solo career throughout the 1970s. It was released on Dancing Cat, a sub-label founded in 1983 by George Winston under Windham Hill Records. Rooted in country and folk traditions, the album showcases pastoral acoustic guitar music. It also features outstanding compositions that blend exceptional technique with a sensitive touch, including pieces incorporating oriental scales reminiscent of Indian music.
