This album was released in 1989 by the Concet Jazz Band, the life's work of Swiss jazz pianist George Gruntz, who has been the musical director of the Berlin Jazz Festival for many years and has also left some quality works for ECM since 1972. The big band, featuring Manfred Schoof, Franco Ambrosetti, and a total of 18 jazz musicians, sometimes interplayed dramatically, but always with a calm and pleasant atmosphere. The sound quality is also excellent.
