This is an album released in 1965 by George Russell, an American composer/pianist who has been active since the 1950s, and whose style ranges from solo to jazz orchestra. This is the first Japanese edition released on Nippon Columbia's MPS Jazz & Bossa Nova Series in 1969. It was recorded live at a concert in 1965 at the Wöthoven Hall in Stuttgart, Germany, featuring Albert Heath, Cameron Brown As with Russell's other works, the spirituality behind his wide-ranging style comes through in this wonderful performance.
