An album released in 1989 by the genius artist Gilberto Gil, hailing from Bahia, who led the Tropicalismo movement in 1960s Brazil alongside Caetano Veloso and others. Produced by Celso Fonseca and Victor Farias, the album features compositions solely by Gilberto Gil, except for one track each co-written with Chico Buarque and Celso Fonseca. It's a masterpiece with transparent, breezy arrangements that culminate in a tropical sound. Tracks like B4 stand out with melodic work reminiscent of his close friend Caetano Veloso, warm percussion, acoustic guitar, and strings interweaving organically.

B2: Monthiers Monde
B4: Requiem pra mae menininha do Gantois
