An album released in 1974 by Irakere, the legendary Afro-Cuban jazz group led by Chucho Valdés and featuring Carlos Emilio Morales, Carlos Averhoff, and Paquito D’Rivera. The record delivers an outstanding fusion of Afro-Cuban grooves with rock, soul, funk, and R&B influences. Highlights include A1, which features a funky rhythm section paired with trippy synthesizers, and B2, a scorching track with psychedelic electric guitar and soulful vocals reminiscent of Brazil’s Tim Maia. This rare Venezuelan cassette edition has just arrived.

A1: Bacalao Con Pan
B2: Luisa
