This album was released in 1971 by Gyorgy Ligeti, a Hungarian-Austrian composer known for his numerous experimental contemporary music works as well as soundtracks for Stanley Kubrick films such as "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "The Shining. Composed between 1969 and 1970, A1 is a chamber concerto for 13 players, but a very peculiar acoustic space emerges. The strings are like electronic sounds. B3 was created in 1958 in the electronic music studio of the West German Radio in cooperation with Gottfried Michael Koenig and Karlheinz Stockhausen's assistant Cornelius Cardew, and consists of various kinds of sounds in a collective state, a conversation without words The work is an electronic music piece that can be listened to as a wordless conversation.
