This is a 1978 album by American trumpeter Hannibal Marvin Peterson, who carries on the legacy of John Coltrane's spirit. The album was recorded in a New York studio in 1978 under the production of Yoshiyuki Ozawa, known for his work on several Japan-exclusive projects with labels like Baystate and Denon Jazz. The recording features a lineup that includes Michael Cochrane (piano), Diedre Murray (cello), Cecil McBee (bass), and David Lee (drums, percussion), along with guest appearances by Frank Wright (bass clarinet), Marcella Allen (vocals), Stanley Robinson (percussion), and Roland Love (percussion). Together, they create a magnificent and vibrant Black spiritual jazz experience. Highlights of the album include A2, which aims for uncharted inner worlds, and B2, reminiscent of the divine radiance of sunlight pouring down.

A2: To Search the Inner World
B2: The Light
