This is the debut album released in 1978 by Japanese female singer Haruko Kuwana, who has been continuing her activities at her own pace since her debut single 'Motto Imagination' in 1978. The 'Hawaii Side,' titled A-side, was produced by Mackey Feary, a pioneer of Hawaiian mellow groove and an original member of Kalapana. Featuring Gaylord Holomalia (piano, synthesizer), David Yoshiteru Gibson (piano, synthesizer), Kevin Daley (drums), and other members of the Mackey Feary Band, they covered tracks from the acclaimed 1978 album 'Mackey Feary Band,' as well as performing Kuwana's original songs with a light touch. The 'L.A. Side,' titled B-side, was produced by keyboardist Bill Payne, known for his sessions with numerous artists since the 1960s. Many Los Angeles musicians participated, presenting a groovy West Coast sound.
