Based in Iwate Prefecture, Project Himejin is a project by Yoshiaki Hoshi, who creates synthesizer music that largely incorporates the taste of Japanese folk music such as folk songs from the Tohoku region. The sound of digital synthesizers and the melody of the Japanese scale, which is the essence of Himejin's music, create a magnificent soundscape. It is similar to the synthesizer music of the Far East Family Band, such as Sho Itoh and Tomimio Miyashita, but with a different Japanese sentiment. The final track B2, full of floating atmosphere with percussion performance by Yas-Kaz, is outstanding.
