An obscure acoustic duo album released in 1988 by guitarist Robert Hofmann, a member of the German ethnic group Aigle, also featured in "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION," and percussionist Dieter Weberpals. With an extremely simple lineup of 6-string/12-string acoustic guitar, flute, and percussion, they weave melodies and rhythms that are at times intense, at times gentle, and at times mysterious. This organic acoustic jazz work is full of ethnic sentiment, covering "Spain," a masterpiece from Return to Forever's classic album "Light as a Feather," and the title track from Paul Winter's Winter Consort album "Icarus," composed by Ralph Towner. The entire album is simply wonderful, evoking a sensation of sound vibrations traveling through nerve cells. Unfortunately, the jacket is missing, so it is being sold at a special price.
