This album was released in 1969 by Houston Person, an American saxophonist who recorded for the Prestige label in the 1960s and also specialized in playing soul, disco, and other black music. The album features Sonny Phillips (og), Billy Butler (g), Bob Bushnell (b), Frankie Jones (ds), and Buddy Caldwell (per). This is a masterpiece of groovy soul-jazz with many elements of R&B and blues, including A1, a funky tune featuring a fast rhythm section and a short vocal on the chorus. 1988 remastered release with good sound.
