A 1975 album by American saxophonist Houston Person, who had been active since the 1960s with groups such as Johnny “Hammond” Smith’s, and went on to work across a wide range of Black music scenes, not only jazz but also soul, funk, and disco. The participating musicians are not credited, while B5 features vocals by Etta Jones. From covers of R&B/soul classics to Person’s own original compositions, this is a superb album of emotional soul-jazz/jazz-funk, much in the same vein as Get Out’a My Way!, released on Westbound the same year.
