Shakuhachi player Hozan Yamamoto, who has made great achievements not only in the classical arts but also in contemporary activities, performed with American jazz bassist David Friesen on this album released in 1980. Pianist Masahiko Sato participated. With Sato's electric piano and Friesen's gentle bass, Hozan's shakuhachi plays a graceful melody like a flute, depicting a beautiful scene. If you like ECM-style ethnic jazz, you should definitely give this album a listen.
