An album released in 1979 by Opus One, a label founded in 1966 by composer Max Schubel, known for producing numerous outstanding recordings. It features works by two American composers: Hubert S. Howe, Jr., a member of the Society of Composers, Inc. and the International Computer Music Association, who contributed to the development of electroacoustic music, and Noah Creshevsky, who created many works utilizing electroacoustic techniques. A particular highlight is track B1, Broadcast, by Creshevsky. As its title suggests, this piece is a musique concrète composition structured in three parts, created by collaging broadcast audio recordings. With a chaotic blend of various voices and noises, it employs an exceptionally refined approach. It also serves as an excellent DJ tool.
