American alto saxophonist Huey Simmons (Sonny Simmons), who met and began working with Prince Lasha in the mid-1950s, and recorded such classic albums as "The Cry!". This is the double album released in 1971. It is worth noting that in addition to Cecil McBee (b), Clifford Jarvis (ds), Richard Davis (b) and his wife Barbara Donald (tp), Lonnie Liston Smith (p) and Michael White (vl) are also featured on this album. As the title suggests, A1/C1 expresses a burning soul through sound, while D1 is about the equality of cosmic energy and sound, and is a masterpiece that expresses the existence of chaos, or the universe, through raging free improvisation. C2, with its theme of the beginning of creation and deep spirituality in the waves of sound, is the highlight of the album. Highly recommended.
