This is the third album released in 1987 by In The Nursery, a group formed in Sheffield, England in 1981, centered around twin brothers Klive and Nigel Humberstone. The album is the quintessential work of this group, which develops industrial new wave with neo-classical sounds, which is the group's greatest feature, while making extensive use of synthesizer pad sounds, and has a very cinematic worldview throughout the album. The style of this album is similar to that of Tuxedomoon, its member Blaine L. Reininger, and Steven Brown's solo work. There are also many ambient elements.
