This is a leader album released in 1976 by Isao Suzuki, a Japanese bassist who has been active in various styles of jazz, including sessions with Masabumi Kikuchi, Masahiko Togashi, and Hideto Kanai, as well as his own solo works. The album is the trio session with Tsuyoshi Yamamoto (p) and Donald Bailey (dr), and features Brazilian numbers such as A1, which is a pensive and groovy cover of Luiz Bonfa's masterpiece, and B1, which has a pleasant bossa nova rhythm. Sublimating elegantly with his restrained performance while maintaining a deep spirituality.
A1: Manha De Carnival
B1: Who Can I Turn You
B2: In a Sentimental Mood
