Jan Garbarek, Bobo Stenson, Terje Rypdal, Arild Andersen, Jon Christensen and many other great artists who are leading the Scandinavian contemporary jazz scene gathered together and released this masterpiece album as the 15th album of German ECM in 1971. This album is a masterpiece. This is a black jazz oriented album (A1), influenced by Miles Davis during his funk period, ethno free jazz (A2) with various percussions and Jan Garbarek's soprano in a primitive way, and Terje Rypdal's rockin Rypdal's rockin' electric guitars cut through the space on B1, and as this is the first ECM album, the band plays with a lot of gusto. It's great. This is an original German pressing with no LC mark on the back, probably from the mid 1970s.
