This album was released in 1978 by James Moody, an American saxophone/flute player who has been active for more than 60 years from the late 40's to 2010, and has left more than 70 albums. Mark Grey(keys), Jimmy Johnson(per), Carl Lynch(g), Billy Butler(g), Herb Bushler(b) participated. Moody is a player who specializes in bebop and hard bop styles, but during his long career, he also approached soul jazz/jazz funk in the late 70s. This album also features aggressive jazz-funk and mellow soul-jazz with Afro-feelings based on blues, and is an excellent piece of music with a quintessential groove.
