This 1986 album by Jame Newton, a free jazz flutist who has also done a lot of new age music, such as using the reverberating effects of natural formations. The album begins with a gentle standard number featuring parts of a Shakespearean suite by Duke Ellington, and moves on to Japanese-flavoured new age jazz track featuring koto and harp. And you can listen to the realisations of songs from his 1982 album 'Jamese Newton' what is a mix of koto and African kora. And quintessential free jazz. Newton's multifaceted approach can be enjoyed on this album.
