This masterpiece album was released in 1981, brings together three spiritually inclined artists: Charlie Haden on bass, Jan Garbarek on tenor and soprano saxophones, and Egberto Gismonti on guitar and piano. The album showcases their individual strengths, with Garbarek’s soaring soprano sax beautifully complementing Gismonti’s expansive 8-string guitar on track A3, and Gismonti's breathtakingly fast piano showering down like a torrential downpour on track B2. The result is a delicate and spiritually profound sound, where each musician respects and enhances the others' contributions, all within a pleasantly tense atmosphere. Highly recommended.
