This is a masterpiece album released in 1984 that became the foundation of the project Pili-Pili, initiated by Dutch jazz pianist/keyboardist Jasper Van't Hof, who has been active in the European jazz scene since the late 1960s. The project was conceived around the concept of blending African music with electronics. The album features numerous floor-ready tracks where solid electro beats intertwine with African percussion and chants, complemented by Jasper Van't Hof's bright, attack-heavy piano playing, creating an emotional and dynamic soundscape. It offers a style of electronic world music reminiscent of Wally Badarou.
