An album released in 1982 by Jean Piché, a composer regarded as one of the pioneers of digital audio technology in Canada. Featuring the voice of Joanna Anonychuk, the record presents electronic layers forming endlessly long drones that unfold into a cloud-like soundscape on A1; solid electronic tones that rise and fall in continuous motion on A2; and a trancy piece on B1 built from Paul Grant’s minimal percussion and synthesizer sequences. A masterful work of electronic music that fully transcends the boundaries of contemporary composition. Extremely highly recommended. This is the 2012 U.S. reissue.
