This is a 1973 leader album by American saxophonist Jimmy Heath, who is the brother of drummer Albert Heath and the bassist Percy Heath from MJQ. The album features a sextet consisting of Curtis Fuller on trombone, Bernard Fennell on cello, Stanley Cowell on piano, Bob Cranshaw on bass, and Billy Higgins on drums and percussion. Throughout the album, Jimmy Heath demonstrates superb performances, skillfully blending the tastes of soul and R&B into a cool groove. Stanley Cowell's gentle touch on the electric piano adds an irresistibly pleasant element to the music. This album is highly recommended and considered a classic.
