This 1985 leader album by American saxophonist Jimmy Lyons, longtime right-hand man to Cecil Taylor, features a quintet that includes Enrico Rava, Karen Borca, Jay Oliver, and Paul Murphy. The entire album is completely free-form jazz with stirring improvisations, but Paul Murphy's drumming is ear-catching, occasionally pounding out groovy beats. The solo by Lyons at the ending track of the album is also excellent.
