This is an artist compilation album of guitarist John Abercrombie, released on Trio Records' original artist compilation series "ECM Special," which has been producing ECM Records' Japanese editions since the mid-1970s. One song is selected from each of Abercrombie's previous releases and from works by Collin Walcott and Jack DeJohnette, with whom he has participated. This is a glimpse of Abercrombie's appeal all at once. All tracks are good.
