A leader album released in 1982 by John Lindberg, an American bassist who has played with Frank Lowe, Anthony Braxton, and Sunny Murray since the late 70's. He played with Hugh Ragin(tp), Marty Ehrlich( Hugh Ragin(tp), Marty Ehrlich(as,ft), Billy Bang(violin), Thurman Barker(ds), and the quintet. A1, in which the drums and bass follow the same basic line and the 11/4 beat is repeated three times, leading to improvisation, and A2/B1, dedicated to American bassist David Izenson, who passed away in 1979, begin with a unison of two parts, and then improvise on random notes using the first part. A2/B1 is dedicated to American bassist David Izenson, who passed away in 1979, and B2 is a free jazz piece that makes skillful use of confrontation techniques.
