Album released in 1977 by Danish saxophonist John Tchicai, one of the most important contributors to the rise of free jazz along with John Coltrane, Cecil Taylor, Archie Shepp, Don Cherry and Albert Ayler. A trio with Niels-Hennig Orsted Pedrsen (b) and Pierre Dorge (g). Dorge's guitar has a unique, edge-sliced sound with a floating melody, while Pederson's bass plays with a knack for using string rubbing and other techniques, with Tchicai playing in unison and interplay. With few notes and plenty of space, this is an avant-contemporary jazz piece that can be listened to slowly and carefully.
