Norwegian jazz guitarist Jon Eberson, who has performed on Blow Up, a one-off album with Jon Christensen and Hakon Graff, and Jive Talking under the group name of Jon Eberson Group with Sidsel Endresen on vocals, both were featured in the "obscure sound" guidebook. This album was released in 1986, featuring Bjorn Kjellemyr (b) and Audun Kleive (ds), brings to the fore a hard-edged guitar style that is distinctly different from the aforementioned works, and is similar to David Torn and Terje Rypdal's jazz rock released on ECM.
