Croatian songstress Josipa Lisac, whose superb vocals were featured on "Majko Zemljo," a classic album by Tihomir Pop Asanovic, the best of Yugoslavian rare groove, which was also featured in the guidebook "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION. The album was released in 1976 and features the B.P. Convention Big Band International, a group of Croatian jazz musicians. The album is a cover album featuring representative songs and standard numbers by The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Jimmy Webb, and others, backed by B.P. Convention, which has a great go-jazz groove, and Lisac's vocals, which are intoxicating with his very distinctive voice and outstanding vocal ability. A2, a cover of Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine," is one of the best. Highly recommended.
