In addition to Finland, Jukka Savijoki has given concerts in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Switzerland and England. He has featured as soloist with most of the Finnish orchestras, including the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Helsinki Philharmonic. This album was released in 1982 and features relatively new works by 20th century Finnish composers such as Pehr Henrik Nordgren, Einojuhani Rautavaara, Eril Bergman and Paavo Heininen. The album is post-modern in style, but with a hint of avant-garde at certain points, making it a worthwhile listen.
