This is the first album released in 1979 by Junko Hirotani, a Japanese singer-songwriter who also worked as a composer and studio musician. Masataka Matsutoya arranged all the tracks, and while the musical direction leans toward folk-style pop, the album is supported by an impressive lineup of renowned domestic session players, including Shigeru Suzuki (guitar), Yukihiro Takahashi (drums), Tatsuo Hayashi (drums), Shuichi "Ponta" Murakami (drums), Kenji Takamizu (bass), Masaki Matsubara (guitar), and Nobu Saito (percussion), many of whom are associated with Tin Pan Alley. The result is an excellent performance throughout. The combination of Hirotani's poignant lyrics and her clear singing voice is also a highlight. B2 is particularly recommended. It seems to have been reissued recently.
