A new six-track EP, which can be considered a follow-up to Kaoru Inoue’s latest album Dedicated to the Island—a project that made a big splash upon its release in spring 2024 and was crafted using field recordings from Yakushima—has arrived. This release includes self-reworks that add rhythmic elements to tracks from the previous LP, as well as unreleased material and a remix by the talented Argentinian artist, SidiRum. With an organic soundscape that suits both dance floors and casual listening, it’s an exquisite work.
