Released in 1980, this album finds Norwegian singer Karin Krog — whose superb vocals can also be heard on the duo recording Hi-Fly with Archie Shepp and John Surman’s 1983 ECM work Such Winters of Memory — once again collaborating with Swedish composer/pianist Nils Lindberg, following their 1977 album As You Are. From gospel and John Coltrane’s historic masterpiece to classical music and jazz standards, Krog delivers a truly outstanding vocal performance against the majestic organ accompaniment of Lindberg.
