An album by Karl-Heinz Stockhausen, one of Germany's most renowned composers, who evolved from traditional serialism to group music, moment form, and the technique of "formes," while also leaving behind numerous live electronic works. Titled "Seven Days: Voyage to the Sun / Conjunction," this album features recordings made in a Paris studio after the conclusion of Stockhausen Week in 1969, which was held at the Gemier Hall of the Palais de Chaillot, near the Eiffel Tower. The music was performed based on prepared textual instructions rather than traditional staff notation. It was recorded directly onto stereo tape in a continuous, uninterrupted take, without any editing or mixing. Through scattered instrumental sounds and fragmented melodies dispersed throughout the sound field, the composition creates a unique spatial formation, embodying the concept of intuitive music, where indeterminacy is pursued to its absolute limits.
