This album was released in 1975 by the American pianist Keith Jarrett, who gained fame in his twenties for creating historical masterpieces like "Solo Concert" and "Koln Concert." It features a quintet with Dewey Redman, Charlie Haden, Paul Motian, and Guilhermo Franco. The album includes fantastic contemporary jazz compositions that blend Jarrett's characteristic folk sensibility and urban flair, such as the exotic melodies of wood flutes and musettes in A2 and the mystical scenic depictions in B1. This fusion of folk emotions and urban sensibilities, a hallmark of Jarrett during this period, is captured wonderfully in the music. This is the original US pressing in quadraphonic format.
