This album was released in 1973 by Keith Jarrett, an American pianist who made a name for himself in his twenties with such historic masterpieces as "Solo Concert" and "Koln Concert". The quintet features Jarrett's trusted musicians, including Dewey Redman, Charlie Haden, Paul Motian, and Danny Johnson. The title track (A2) and B1 feature a percussive Afro-like rhythm section with a flowing piano melody, and the album is a masterpiece of spiritual post-bop that only Jarrett could produce at this time.
