First album by jazz singer Kim Parker, daughter of Charlie Parker's common-law wife, musician Chan Parker (who later married Phil Woods), released on Soul Note in Italy in 1982. She leads a piano trio comprising Kenny Drew (p), Mads Vinding (b) and Ed Thigpen (ds), featuring classic numbers by Duke Ellington, Cole Porter and others, jazz standards and Phil Woods' music. This is a piece of music with excellent, assured trio playing and Parker's lustrous, elongated voice. Recommended. it’s including insert for Japanese market.
