King Sunny Ade & His African Beats
Bobby
Sunny Alade Records (Nigeria) 1983
SALPS 36 (LP) company inner sleeve.
sleeve : EX-(SRW, wear on some parts of edge and corner.)
media : EX+/EX+(some slightly noises, still good.)

This album was released in 1983 by the well-known African-Nigerian juju master King Sunny Ade and His African Beats. The album is dedicated to the late Olabinjo (Bobby) Benson, a musician who created the highlife with elements of Caribbean music and big band styles, and was a major influence in the birth of the Nigerian musical style of juju. As usual, Sunny Ade's tropical guitars, talking drum beats and trippy synthesizers groove together in a non-stop dance music that is full of energy. The B-side is a very upbeat and pleasant highlife song in the style of Olabinjo (Bobby) Benson. Both sides are excellent. This is the original Nigerian pressing.
