This album was released in 1981 by American jazz guitarist Larry Coryell, who is said to be one of the world's most skilled players of some of the world's most difficult pieces, such as the 1913 ballet "The Rite of Spring" by Igor Stravinsky, one of the greatest composers of the 20th century, which he performed on acoustic guitar alone. In this album, Coryell performs "Bolero," a historical work by French Impressionist composer Maurice Ravel, one of the founders of modern music along with Debussy and Satie, as well as Pablo de Sarasate's "Zapateado" and "Manoel de Sarasate". The guitar solo performance is as if it were a multiple recording. Produced by Theo Macero, known for his editing of Miles Davis' works.
