A masterpiece album released in 1971 by Tonto's Expanding Head Band, a unit formed by American electronic musicians Malcolm Cecil and Robert Margouleff, who had a significant influence on Stevie Wonder. The album features psychedelic space electronics, utilizing the world's first polyphonic synthesizer, TONTO, designed and built by Malcolm Cecil, along with Moog synthesizers. Tracks like A2, where trippy synth sound effects stimulating the brain fly freely through space over heartbeat-like electronic pulses, and A3, where bouncing synth tones create a catchy melody that shifts kaleidoscopically, showcase the album’s unique sonic universe. A landmark of American psychedelic electronics, standing alongside Silver Apples.
