This was introduced in the guidebook "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION". Swedish pianist Lars Jansson released this leader album in 1987 on Ton Art, a minor Swedish label that existed from the late 70's to the mid 80's. The album is a trio work featuring Lars Danielsson (b) and Anders Kjellberg (ds), members of "Time Unit", a Swedish ambient jazz album released by Dragon in 1984. The title track B5, the last track on the album, is noteworthy for its ethnic sound, with its background of atmospheric synthesizer pads like clouds slowly drifting across the sky, and the moist sounds of tabla and cello floating like a deep vision. It is a super deep ambient jazz with ethnic flavor. The occasional electric piano and flute sounds are also very pleasant. It's just wonderful. Please give it a listen.
