This 5-LP live album is a comprehensive record of American female composer/performance artist Laurie Anderson's 1983 US tour. Anderson, who has been active since the mid-1970s and is now known for her collaborations with the Kronos Quartet, also known as performers of Steve Reich's works, still delivers sharp contemporary/avant-garde acts. This is a rare complete Japanese edition, limited to 2000 sets. The live performance, consisting of a staggering 78 tracks divided into four parts, fully incorporates elements from her first album "Big Science," released the previous year, and "You're The Guy I Want to Share My Money with," a collaborative work with William S. Burroughs and John Giorno released in 1981, drawing the listener into a highly artistic, experimental, poetic, and mysterious world. It's clear that Burroughs had a great influence on her. The sound creation is also extremely experimental. It's superb.
