This album was released in 1980 and features Loko Massendo, an original member of Trio Madjesi, a group that has been active in the urban areas of the Congo (formerly Zaire) in Central Africa since the 1960s and popular in Congo and France, and Michael Boyibanda, who has been active since the 1960s with Orchestre Negro-Band, Franco's T.P.O.K. Jazz, and others. L'Orchestre Rumbaya plays live rumba rock with shuffling rhythms, groovy bass and rhythm guitars, and deep vocals/chorus. Beautiful copy.
