This album was released in 1970 by Luc Ferrari, a French composer who participated in the Music Concrete research group formed by Pierre Schaeffer, the founder of Music Concrete, and produced a number of experimental works. The A-side is a music concrète work that is a collage of various concrete sounds recorded in the field. It has a pseudo-trip sensation as if you are watching a documentary film of a travelogue, and is tremendously realistic. The B-side is a cut-up music concrete of a performance by Ensemble Instrumental de Musique Contemporaine de Paris, and is quite stimulating. Highly recommended. Original German pressing.
