A live recording album from 1985 at Cecilia Room Meirelles, featuring three of Brazil's most prominent musicians: pianist Luiz Eca, known for his work with Tamba Trio and Tamba 4, as well as excellent solo releases; bassist Luis Alves, who has collaborated with Nontato Luiz and Djalma Correa, and contributed to historical masterpieces such as Milton Nascimento and Lo Borges' "Clube Da Esquina," Gal Costa's "India," and numerous works by Egberto Gismonti; and drummer Robertinho Silva, renowned for his superb playing on countless albums, including the Philips' signature MPBC series and his 1983 release "Bateria." Released by the Carmo label, founded by Egberto Gismonti. While each musician possesses diverse facets, this live performance emphasizes jazz, showcasing thrilling and beautiful contemporary jazz with miraculous interplay throughout. All three tracks are extended, with A1/A2 being just under 10 minutes, and side B featuring an interplay exceeding 18 minutes, truly a triangular sound exchange unique to these three. This is undoubtedly a very important live album in the history of Brazilian jazz. It is truly astonishing.
